Episode 13...If we were superstitious we might have called this 12a or even 14, but here is episode 13. Rhett starts us off with some info on Ancient Rome and then he finishes up with a review of Bioshock Infinite. If you are wondering whether or not to purchase Bioshock Infinite, listen here first. Jason opens his comments with a plug for the old Rankin/Bass Hobbit cartoon from 1977. Whether you have seen it or not, you have to admit that it is a more faithful interpretation than the monstrosity that Peter Jackson unleashed on just last year. Then he turns our attention to sexism in video games. Why is it that we let the gaming industry get away with female characters like Bayonetta, Lollipop Chainsaw, and Ivy Valentine? Because we are men and we like to look at beautiful women, even if they aren't real. Finally, in this week's Battle Royale we have a twofer. In our first match-up we have The Trojan Man versus Eric Cartman. In our second, we have Ariel Castro versus a Rope, we'll let you guess who won that one. Let us know what you think by commenting on our Twitter account or our blog. Also, if you have any topics relating to nerd culture that you want us to discuss or any Battle Royale match-ups that you want to hear us debate send us your comments.
We are also gearing up for a special topic next week. We encourage you to tune in. We hope that you will find it interesting and encourage your friends to tune in as well.
